My Background

I have been playing and performing on the violin since I was a child. These performances have taken me across the world, playing at European venues in Italy, Austria, France, and the United Kingdom. I have been playing and teaching Suzuki method since the 1990s, and am a registered Suzuki teacher with the Suzuki Association of the Americas (SSA)

My Background

I am a long-standing instructor of violin in the Castro Valley area. Numbers of my students have been awarded "Superior" and "Command" performances at the annual California Music Educator's Association Festivals. Former students have grown to make music their life's work, including careers with companies like the New York Philharmonic Orchestra.

My Lessons

I offer both group and private lessons, separated by skill level. I have experience with students as young as three-years-old, up through mature adults. Stylistically, I am a highly qualified Suzuki instructor, with a strong traditional foundation. I assess each student individually and develop a custom framework and pace to best suit the learning style and goals of each student.
